Chris is currently the Global Chairman for Aviva Digital and Executive Chairman for Aviva Asia and Friends Provident International (FPI).
Chris leads Aviva Group's global drive in digital, and has transformed the 321-year-old insurer into a leading InsurTech disruptor. He also works closely with senior leaders on setting strategic directions and managing the operations of Aviva and FPI across Asia.
Before joining Aviva in October 2014, Chris held key management positions at various leading financial institutions including Great Eastern, AIA, AIG, ING Canada and Allstate Canada.

Peter Ton-That

Head of Investment and Dealing Technology, APAC


Peter is currently Head of Investment and Dealing Technology (APAC) at Schroders based in Singapore. After completing Materials Science and Engineering (MEng) and Biomedical Materials (PhD) degrees at the University of London, Peter has spent the last 17 years working at a number of financial institutions in London and Singapore. These institutions include UBS, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Standard Chartered, Barclays and Credit Suisse.

His expertise is in business and technology delivery & change, spanning across front to back office and various asset classes: P&L, credit risk, financial crime compliance, end to end processing and data warehouse.

A keen learner, he has obtained certifications in Quantitative Finance, Project/Program Management, Agile ScrumMaster, Freelance Journalism, Personal Coaching and Neuro Linguistic Programming. Peter has also served as a board member and chairman of a housing association in London for a number of years, helping people from South East Asia with housing needs.

Claudia Marcusson

Head of Risk Management


Claudia Marcusson has been with NN Investment Partners (formerly ING Investment Management) for almost 10 years in different roles. In 2015 she was appointed Head of Risk Management and ExCo member at NN Investment Partners Singapore, responsible for financial and non-financial risk aspects in the Asian markets excluding Japan.

Claudia has over 15 years of financial experience in the U.S., U.K., Germany, The Netherlands and Singapore in venture capital, mergers & acquisitions, project management and consulting. Since 2016 she is a member of the Risk and Performance Committee of the Investment Management Association of Singapore (IMAS).

She holds a Master degree in Chinese Business Law and Master of Science in Economics and Operations Research. Claudia is a FinTech visionary, molecular home cook and licensed baker, her motto is "curious by nature, happy by choice.

Jamie Vachon

Head of Technology


Jamie Vachon joined Eastspring Investments, the Asian asset management business of Prudential plc, as Head of Information Technology (IT), in February 2016. 
He is responsibility for the technology agenda, including delivery and strategy across the Eastspring group. He also plays a lead role in the transformation program currently underway in the firm.

Vachon joins Eastspring from AMP Australia, where he held a number of senior IT roles including head of technology for insurance and head of technology for AMP Capital. Previously he worked at Infosys where he led a number of significant work programmes.

Tian Sing Wee

Chief Risk Officer, Singapore and Head Office Risk


Tian Sing joined Eastspring Investments, the Asian asset management business of Prudential plc, in July 2017. He is responsible for overseeing the Singapore teams of Compliance, Legal, Operational and Investment Risk functions as well as providing leadership to the Head Office Risk function.

Prior to joining Eastspring Investments, Tian Sing was with Nikko Asset Management Asia Limited as Head of Risk Management Department and Head of Performance Department, where he established the risk management function and introduced the investment risk and performance management framework locally. He also held the role of Vice President, Risk and Performance Management Department at Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC). He is currently serving as a Member of Investment Management Association of Singapore Risk and Performance Committee and Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) Technical Committee as well as Chairman of GIPS Asia Pacific Regional Technical Subcommittee.

Tian Sing is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Building) (First Class Honors) degree and a Master of Science (Financial Engineering) degree with National University of Singapore as well as an Executive Master of Business Administration (High Honors) degree with University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Jon Glennie

Executive Director - Trading Technology APAC


Jon heads up JP Morgan Asset Management’s Trading Technology function in APAC and has in excess of 20 years’ experience in technology development and engineering in a variety of environments.  Prior to joining JP Morgan he led the Hong Kong FX trading technology team at HSBC Global Banking and Markets where he was responsible for the delivery of a number of flagship electronic trading solutions.  Previously Jon had held senior technology positions with RBS working across the Markets technology functions.

Prof Carol Hargreaves

Director of the Data Analytics Consulting Centre


A/Prof Carol Hargreaves is the Director of the Data Analytics Consulting Centre at the National University of Singapore. Prof Hargreaves has a joint position in the Department of Mathematics & the Department of Statistics & Applied Probability. Her role includes providing data analytics advisory & consulting services to industry, designing and teaching data analytics executive training courses for industry professionals, and is a noted keynote conference speaker and moderator.

Prof Hargreaves has a passion for solving business problems using analytics and machine learning techniques to build data driven solutions for growth and effective decision-making. She aims to provide her clients with organic revenue growth, allowing business processes to become smarter and faster while keeping customers engaged.

Prof Hargreaves is an analytics and business intelligence professional with over 28 years analytics experience, with leading roles in the pharmaceutical, healthcare & fast moving consumer goods and education industries. Prof Hargreaves has worked with a variety of leading companies to make businesses more intelligent. These include Pfizer, Novartis, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Nestle, MasterFoods, Goodman Fielder, Foxtel, Aztec (IRI), Cegedim Strategic Data (Quintiles), National Health & Medical Research Council, National University of Singapore

Gareth Nicholson

Head of Fixed Income


Gareth is the head of Fixed income for all the DPM portfolios, accounting for over 6billion AUM. He has over 14 years of investment management experience, situated in both London and Singapore, with two of the largest European asset managers Deutsche Bank asset Management and Standard Life/Aberdeen Asset Management. His responsibilities included helping steer one of the biggest derivative books in London though the Lehman’s collapse, restructure the risk framework for the European Fixed Income Funds during the European crisis and most recently help build the Asian Fixed income business here in Singapore.

He holds a BSC degree in Financial Mathematics from University of Johannesburg and numerous Data Science specializations from Johns Hopkins University and UCLA.


Richard Turrin

Chief Innovation Officer


Rich Turrin is a 2015 Risk Awards winner. Winning the Risk Technology Product of the Year category based on his groundbreaking application of risk systems in China.
He is now the Chief Innovation Officer at Singapore Life, Singapore's newest and most innovative life insurance company. At Singapore Life he helps navigate the uncharted waters associated with the latest AI and cognitive technologies.
Before joining Singapore Life Rich served as the senior executive heading Fintech for IBM Cognitive Studios Singapore, and in IBM China before that. In both countries he was responsible for bringing IBM's revolutionary cognitive and analytic solutions to the financial sector.
Focusing on the fin in fintech, Rich was an investment banker for 20 years specializing in the design of new fixed income products. He is responsible for a number of industry firsts in hybrid bonds and insurance, and made his career by thinking "out of the box."
Rich was a professor at Hult International Business School, Shanghai campus where he taught in the MBA program. Rich is a licensed Merchant Marine Captain, speaks Mandarin, and resides in Singapore.

Allan Reyes

Managing Director-Head of the Technology Solutions


Allan has recently joined Nikko Asset Management as Managing Director-Head of the Technology Solutions with the mission to develop and support business systems and platforms for Nikko Asset Management’s offices around the globe. Before joining Nikko in December 2017, Allan was the Head of Investments Technology for MetLife Japan for more than 6 years. He formed MetLife's 1st Investments Technology Unit outside the US Head Office.

Prior to MetLife, he was responsible for managing the development of and support for various applications for back and middle office systems at BNP Paribas Securities, Japan. Allan holds a Master of Engineering in Information and Computer Science from the Toyohashi University of Technology, and is fluent in Japanese and English.

Andrew Lian

Head of Client Service Delivery and Implementation


Andrew is the Head of Client Service Delivery and Implementation for the Investment Analytics function in BNP Paribas Securities Services. Prior to joining BNP, Andrew spent the past 15 years of his career in analytical, performance and risk roles within the Insurance, Asset Management, Investment Banking and the Marketing Research industry.

Andrew is an avid learner and has attained the Chartered Financial Analyst and Certificate in Investment Performance Management designations from the CFA Institute, Certified Financial Risk Manager and Energy Risk Professional designations from the Global Association of Risk Professionals and the Certified Professional Risk Manager designation from the Professional Risk Manager International Association.

Andrew has a Business degree from RMIT University and is currently pursuing a Masters of Technology in Knowledge Engineering from the National University of Singapore.

Andrew Kophamel

Head of Performance Analytics - Asia Pacific


Andrew Kophamel has been working in Performance for 15 years, for both asset managers and service providers, and is a frequent presenter and writer, on topics such as Attribution and Active Share/Alpha Potential. He won an Honorary Dietz award from the Journal of Performance Measurement for his contribution to the discussion on Risk Adjusted Attribution.
